This week
we had a lot of fun with the German students form HHS in Hamburg. We visited
many different places in Bergen, which also has been a good experience for us
in Bergen. My group took Bybanen form
the city centre to Lagunen on the way we visited
“Bystasjonen”,”Florida”,”Sletten”,”Fantoft” and ”Nesttun”. We learned that all
these stations on the light rail is planned very well and that there are many
reasons for their positions like schools, work places and of course housing.
The other Excursion
day (Wednesday) we took the bus to Åsane. First we had a walk in the city to
look at the building and architecture. We also saw one of Bergen´s most famous
tourist attraction “Bryggen” here we presented one of the most discussed questions
at the moment: Should the light rail go over “Bryggen”? Than we took the bus to
Åsane where we looked at some more buildings. Like IKEA and the “EXPERT”
building. Which both are very special for Bergen.
On Thursday
the German students got a taste of typical Norwegian culture, mountain trip.
They went up the mountain “Ulriken” which is the highest mountain in Bergen, so
is can be challenging to walk up but the German students managed. They came
home on Friday afternoon, and then we all were tired and ready for the weekend.
In the
weekend we all got together and had a lot of fun. On Sunday all the girls had a
movies night, which were vey cozy.
On Monday
we started to write our reports, which included the time we were in Hamburg.
